At Zarello ("we," "our," or "us"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your data when you use the Zarello application (zarello.app).

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide our automation and project management services:

  • Account Information: When you sign in using Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture to create your unique user profile.
  • User Content: Text, images, videos, or other media you voluntarily upload to Zarello for processing, analysis, or project management.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you navigate and interact with our application to help us improve performance.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely for the following purposes:

  • Authentication: To verify your identity and secure your account.
  • Service Delivery: To execute the automation workflows, content analysis, and project tracking features you request.
  • Communication: To send important account updates or security notices.

3. Google User Data & Limited Use Policy

Zarello's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • We only request access to the minimal scopes required: email, profile, and openid.
  • We do not sell your Google user data to third parties.
  • We do not use your Google user data for advertising purposes.
  • We do not use your Google user data to train generalized AI models.

4. AI Processing & Third Parties

To provide advanced content analysis features, specific User Content (such as text drafts or video captions) may be processed by third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) via our secure automation infrastructure.

Important: We do not share your personal Google Identity (Name, Email) with these AI providers. We only transmit an anonymous internal User ID and the specific content you have chosen to analyze.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active.

  • Deletion: You may delete your account at any time via the Settings page.
  • Effect of Deletion: Upon deletion, your personal data (name, email, tokens) is immediately and permanently removed from our databases. Associated content (projects, posts) is also deleted.
